Area
Lassithi plateau is a dreamy destination in Cretan inland. It is one of the prettiest and greenest areas during spring and summer and the 1500 white windmills, which still make a splendid sight against the mountains, used to break the otherwise green landscape.
It lies at an altitude of 850 meters and at the same time not far from the coastal areas of Northeastern Crete.
